What Is an Angle Steel Roll Forming Machine?
An angle steel roll forming machine produces steel angles (L-sections) by cold forming from coil instead of hot rolling. Cold-formed angles are made in equal-leg and unequal-leg sections from galvanized or high-tensile coil, and are widely used for frames, racks, shelves, solar mounting, cable supports and light structural members. Cold forming gives tighter tolerances and a smooth galvanized finish at lower cost than hot-rolled angle for lighter sections, and the line produces continuous lengths cut to order.
